[Applications] • Cranked and boat-shaped versions have been added to this file designed specifically for deburring, for places a straight file cannot reach. Ordinary files have a tooth angle that lets them glide moderately when they contact a wide area, but in deburring the contact area is small, so they slip too much. VARIT has a tooth angle optimized so it deburrs without slipping even on a narrow contact surface. The taper used for flattening is unnecessary for deburring, so a straight profile is used, making deburring even easier.
