The improved successor to our No.650 leisure knife, this Hori Hori digging knife refines the original in several ways. The handle is 20 mm longer for better balance and control, the blade shape and curve are strengthened, and the joint between blade and handle is closed off so mud and soil can no longer work their way in.
Its curved, scoop-shaped blade — rooted in the bamboo tools of Japan's mountain hunters, the matagi — is fully hardened and mirror-polished for excellent rust resistance, covering a wide range of gardening tasks with a single blade. The depth scale also includes inch markings for overseas users.
