A funaya gennou fitted with a Marukin original handle.
Funaya gennou head
The funaya gennou is a gennou with a shape suited to riveting and nail-setting work.
The distinctive head, pointed on one side, lets you drive nails in tight spots where an ordinary hammer cannot reach.
In confined spaces you can also strike sideways with the side of the head, giving flexible use to suit the working environment.
A gennou widely used mainly in Hokkaido and the coastal areas of the Tohoku region, valued on sites that demand delicacy and precision.
Wave-curve (Jakyoku) hammer handle 350mm (natural oak)
/ Eye (handle tenon): 10x24mm
A Marukin original hammer handle with a distinctive wave shape like a snake.
The handle has a gentle curve and rounded profile for a comfortable grip that fits the hand.
An easy-to-use hammer that is hard to slip out of the hand and reduces the shock of impact.
Made of natural wood, it develops more character the more you use it.
Please enjoy the individuality of natural wood, such as its grain and knots.
Made in Tsubame-Sanjo
