Collection: Marukin

Marukin (Marukin-jirushi) is the first original brand of Kanai Sangyo Co., Ltd., a maker and trading house founded in 1954 in Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture, at the heart of the Tsubame-Sanjo metalworking region. The brand was born from listening closely to the craftsmen on site and pursuing practicality and durability, turning their "I wish this existed" into tools that somehow never did.

Its range of hammers, waist pouches and tool holders is built on the skill of Tsubame-Sanjo artisans and is trusted by professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike. Marukin's kariwaku (formwork) hammers, Butaiya stagehand hammers, sheet metal hammers and gennou are fitted with original handles in Japanese oak chosen for its shock absorption, in straight, wave-curve, spiral, SY-grip and naguri finishes, alongside leather, canvas and nylon tool belt gear made for daily use on the job.
